Fellowship of Christian Students

Marksville High School Fellowship of Christian Student (FCS) is a club like no other. We inspire to be a light to others around us. As it says in Mathews 5:14-16, "You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way,let your light shine before others, than they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven."  FCS is open to both High School and Middle School students for weekly prayer. Our hope is to make a difference for Jesus Christ in our school community.

Vision Statement: We want to see students grow in the knowledge of Jesus Christ, to know him as their Savior and to be transformed by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Mission Statement: It is our goal to spread the good news of the gospel of Jesus Christ and its life-giving power. we will tell others of the love of Jesus Christ and see their lives changed.

Our Standards: We will hold true to the Bible, the spoken Word of God given to us by the Holy spirit, as our foundation. Jesus Christ is the only way to the Father; He is the way, truth, and life. All speakers must be approved by the FCS Club sponser and the principal. They will be held to high standards and must exhibit the fruit of the spirit in their lives. We will guard the hearts of our students and not let anything in that would hinder their growth. We want them to know their identity in Christ and be who He called them to be.

Kristi Gaspard,

What encouraged me to sponser FCS(Fellowship of Christian Students)  was that I wanted the students to know that they are important and that God has a plan for them. I like sponsering FCS; it is truley an honor to be part of what God is doing at Marksville High School. It brings joy to my heart to help these students at MHS find the light of god! My future vision for FCS is for it to grow and produce positive change in their lives of the students; so that one day they will bring change to the world around them!
