The Marksville Tigers have become a model of success under Head Coach JT Dunbar. Since taking over in 2001, the Tigers have won 114 games (Second most wins by a Head Coach in school history). During that stretch, the Tigers have finished no worse than second in district during any of those seasons. The Tigers also boast an impressive stretch of post season success. Since 2009, the Tigers have made the playoffs every season and have been in the post season 15 of the last 17 seasons. The Tigers have also established an impressive record against parish opponents, going 19-3 against them since 2006. The Tigers have also held the famed Catskin trophy since 2009 (8 seasons) marking one of the longest streaks in the series' storied history.
